Saturday Stuff...

Luckily the past couple of Saturdays have been pleasant and we've been able to play/work in the yard.  This Saturday was a beautiful day all around.  We started it off with an early morning trip to the temple.  We got back to town and I had a wedding shower to attend.  It was fun to see all the extras Mariah had done to throw her sister-in-law, Cindy, a great shower.  From there the work began and didn't end until it was time to get cleaned up to go to our Saturday session of Stake Conference.
We were priviledged to have Elder L. Tom Perry presiding over our Stake Conference.  What an amazing opportunity it was to be in his midst and hear his council.  He is such a genuinely SWEET man and he makes me want to try harder and do better.

This was one of my favorite Saturday projects that I got finished. I think the kids will love it, and I'm going to love their artwork on it too.  I got the idea from this blog.
